You can use Screenky to take a screenshot. Press the Print Screen hotkey, select the region you want to capture, hit Enter, and presto, you have your screenshot. After Screenky takes the screenshot, it automatically uploads it to an online dashboard and it copies the link to the clipboard. Open the aforementioned dashboard in your web browser and you can view the screenshot, copy the screenshot’s link, or share the screenshot on Facebook.

Among other things, the Quick Look video that accompanies this article presents the Screenky installation process. Check out the video to see how incredibly easy it is to install Screenky on a Windows-powered PC.

While Screenky is running, you will see an icon in the system tray.

Left click the icon and you will be presented with a menu that features the following entries:
Take screenshot – take a screenshot of the entire screen or of a rectangular region on the screen.
View dashboard – open the online dashboard in your default web browser and view the last 10 screenshots you took. From the dashboard you can also copy the link to any screenshot you want and share any screenshot you want on social networking site Facebook.
Exit – close the application.

Right click the Screenky icon in the system tray and you will be presented with a menu that displays previews for your screenshots, allows you to select and view a screenshot, and allows you to open the online dashboard.

Press Print Screen and you will be invited to make a choice: take a screenshot of the entire screen or take a screenshot of a certain region. After you make your choice, the screenshot will be uploaded to the web and the link to the screenshot will be copied to the clipboard. You can paste the link in an IM, in an email, or in a Facebook status. Speaking about status, from the Screenky dashboard you can share screenshots on Facebook – you can also view screenshots and copy the link to a screenshot.

Screenky is free, incredibly easy to use, and provides a handy means of taking and sharing screenshots.

Pros

Little time and effort will go into installing Screenky. Take a screenshot of the entire desktop; select a square region of the desktop and capture it. Screenshots are automatically uploaded to the web and the link to the screenshot is automatically copied to the clipboard. There’s a handy dashboard that allows you to view screenshots, share them on Facebook, or copy their links. Screenky is free software.

Cons

None that I could think of.
